Windows file count limit

I don't know whether your drive is full or not, since you haven't provided any information about it, but certainly if it's full you can't add any more. I was wondering what the MAX numbers of folders off of a main directory would be in windows I have at current off the ROOT folder we will call it so off of C: for example at the current time have folders off that.
